CLICK, CLICK, TIME HAS COME BACK

If we could turn time back
      like a computer clock,

 Each second,
      unclocked,
 Would frolic
      frock free
 And dance
      free form,
Freed of form,
Dance right through the dawn,
    from form to formlessness
And back again
    from formlessness to form

And each second would fall again
     into the clock,
Who waits with open hands
and the ticking of its heart.
