Searing Sun Press is a press that provides many types of impressions. It had its start in publishing the Buddhist Themes Series of poems by Paul Dolinsky, one of the founders of the press, and is expanding into publishing the works of other poets. We publish poetry in booklet form (chapbooks), of a generally spiritual nature. We also provide a web site presence for our poets, and their work.

The work of the press extends to providing other Web Services. We discovered that one's web presence, or physical presence in the world as a business, can be greatly enhanced if it ranks high in the searches performed by search engines, as Google and Lycos. Thus, the on-line work of Searing Sun Press has organically expanded to now include Search Engine Optimizing (SEO) -- our special service to interested parties.

The other founder of Searing Sun Press is Elise Lindauer. Paul and Elise are husband and wife. Elise is a talented astrologer with over 30 years experience in the field. She is very familiar with the Bach and California flower essences, and is also a Reiki practitioner (levels 1, 2, and 3). She provided the name and the theme of Searing Sun Press, as a site which presents aspects of metaphysics, whose very truths may sear by their intensity.

A long-time student of the work of Alice A. Bailey, Elise helps to maintain the metaphysical tone of the site, by promoting the establishment of links to the monthly Hercules Myth, and monthly subjects for meditation, from the Bailey work. She also offers private consultations. We believe in the poems that we publish, and the value of the insights of esotericism into existence and human life.
